![]() ![]() 4 - Police responded to the area of 10 South Pine St., for a non-injury accident. He was charged with flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Taylor was taken into custody after a foot chase and the bags were recovered and found to have crack cocaine in them. When probation officers contacted Taylor, he threw two small bags and then fled on foot. On scene it was found that probation officers had encountered Jeremy Michael Taylor, 23, who had multiple active warrants, including one for absconding from Mifflin County Probation. 4 - Police responded to the area of the Sheetz store to assist Mifflin County Probation. ¯ Warrant/possession of controlled substance - 7:04 p.m. Short was transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. He was known to officers as having a felony warrant for retail theft and was placed under arrest. ![]() 3 - Officers received a tip that John Short, 42, was at 21 McClintock Avenue, Apt. Tate is facing charges of public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She attempted to resist, but was arrested and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. ![]() Tate was also discovered to be under the influence of alcohol. Officers found Tate Young, 22, of Lewistown, yelling obscenities at a family member on the sidewalk in front of their home. 3 - Officers were dispatched to a disorderly conduct in progress in the 100 block of Valley Street. ¯ Public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest - 1:54 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (717) 248-6716. It is not clear at this time if the damage was caused by a passing vehicle or a person on foot. A black Chevrolet C10 pick-up truck had its driver side mirror damaged. 2 - Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief to an automobile along the 600 block of South Main Street. ¯ Criminal mischief of automobiles - 9:41 p.m. He was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for medical evaluation and charged with public drunkenness. Bowersox admitted to police that he had consumed three or four six-packs of beer. He was unable to stand on his own and had heavily slurred speech. The male was identified as Daniel Bowersox, 57, of Lewistown. 2 - Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the South Side Hoagie Shop for a report of a male falling over and stumbling. Clark was cited through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller’s office. He was intoxicated to the point that he could not walk on his own. 2 - Joseph Clark, 63, of Lewistown, was found lying on the roadway at 137 Warren Alley. Joiner was arrested and charged with public drunkenness. The officer found Thomas Joiner, 60, Lewistown, outside the store and smelled the odor of alcohol. 2 - Police were flagged down by a citizen and told about an intoxicated person outside the Dollar General Store, who was yelling at shoppers. The truck was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported. 1 - Police responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of East Water and South Brown streets.Īn investigation revealed that Carol Bower, 72, of Lewistown, was turning onto East Water Street and cut the turn too tight hitting a parked pick-up truck that was on East Water Street. The offender admitted to hitting the victim three times before leaving the scene. The victim suffered a chipped tooth and a laceration to his lip. Officers identified the juvenile victim who was able to identify his juvenile offender. Dec.1 - Officers were called to the Festival of Ice, in the area of the former Wilson’s Jewelry store for an assault. During a search, officers found a small amount of marijuana and Caesar was charged with possession of marijuana.
